    Making Pots

    This weekend I got into the studio at the University where I teach Art History and made some ceramic work. It felt so good to be working in clay. As much as I've enjoyed the trailer renovation so far, it means less time for the artwork that I am ultimately making the trailer space for! Working this weekend in the studio made me so excited for the trailer studio space to be finished. I try to take up as little space as possible in the studio so I am cramming my work on one

    Paneling Takes Time

    We began paneling the studio this past weekend. We were so very lucky to have the help from our friend Justin. *THANKS JUSTIN!* Justin was also the first person to donate to the studio's GO FUND ME account and I'm throwing in an extra perk for him (a cheese board) because he is awesome. We are using thin wood paneling for the walls to give durability without too much weight. It is a trailer after all and we would like to be able to move it again later! (maybe do some pop-up

    We have been working on the trailer for several weeks now and have accomplished both a lot and a little! Here are a few images of the transformation so far and what we have done! Clean and install/seal windows (including replacing glass for one window) Replace framing on interior that was damaged or missing Double, Triple, Quadropal check that the trailer is water tight and not leaking (several trips onto the roof to patch up little holes) speaking of patching holes Paling u
